Because we value the quality of your movement experience, we keep our class sizes small. This allows for more personalized instruction & we find it helps our clients reach their goals more effectively. 

Your time is valuable & so is your instructor's. If this is your first session, kindly arrive 10 minutes early to complete your new client intake form. If you are a current client, kindly arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your session so that your instruction can begin on time. 

We observe a 24-hour cancellation policy, meaning you will be responsible to pay for the missed session. If you find that you are unable to attend a scheduled session please promptly contact us at (925) 890-8051. 

Private sessions are just that, you + your instructor, working for 55-minutes on your individual movement goals. 

Group equipment sessions will have no more than 3 clients, this allows the instructor to guide you safely & effectively. 

Mat classes are limited to 6 clients, & may use small props at the instructor's discretion. Our "Carpe Diem" class is limited to 8 clients.

form + function PILATES  strives to maintain a clean & positive environment for your movement experience. 


  • Please remove shoes & place in the client cubbies. 

  • Toe socks with grip surfaces are welcome. Core Align can be done with or without shoes or grip socks. 

  • Kindly silence your cell phone when entering the studio.

  • We provide towels & water, but you are also welcome to bring your own. 

  • Clothing should be comfortable & not restrict body movement.
